Fully renovated in the last 2 years, this first floor apt has 2 bedrooms (1 king, plus single bed, 1 double and 1 sofa bed), family bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, lounge/diner, a nice private outside sitting area in the back this property, reliable fast fibre broadband so offers excellent living space for guests to enjoy:
Bedrooms comprise: Master – Spacious bright room. King and single beds with brand new Silent Night memory foam mattresses. Bedside table and lamp. Lovely large bay window with open aspect. 2 large wardrobes in the alcoves provide ample clothes storage. Second Bedroom – bright, lovely room with double bed with brand new Silent Night memory foam mattress. Bedside table and lamp. Lovely large box window.
From the kitchen the back stairs leads to renovated private outside decked seating area where a garden table and 4 chairs are provided to have drinks, dine or just sit in the sun and enjoy the company. The yard gets full sun from afternoon until early evening.
Lounge / Diner. Comfortable, spacious & bright with wood effect flooring. Ample seating with beautiful 3 seater orange leather sofa and comfy full double sofa bed. 32″ Sony TV with free view channels and a Now TV stick is also provided to enable iPlayer, Netflix, etc to be played. The extendable dining table sits 4-6. A highchair can also be provided on request.
Kitchen – straight on from the lounge: Fridge freezer, electric cooker with 4 electric hobs and oven, microwave, kettle, cafetiere and toaster. Tea and coffee are provided. Breakfast bar and 2 stools. Washer/drier with detergent, iron/ironing board, cleaning products/utensils. Excellently stocked kitchen with good range or pans, casserole dishes, etc.
Heating is central heating powered by our brand new gas combination boiler and controlled using the room thermostat to ensure a constant cosy temperature is kept at all times. NOTE: Unlike many serviced accommodation we have central heating controlled by guests to maintain a cosy temperature, NOT ones which switch off after 2 hours so places can get very cold when going out of the place for a few hours or every night.
Large family bathroom with large bath tub to relax in a the end of a busy day. Mains fed (from brand new combination boiler) shower, towel radiator, wc, wash hand basin/storage drawer and tiled flooring.
The immediate neighbourhood
In a really quiet street yet less than 5 minutes drive/25 minutes walk to the beautiful Seafront; beaches & parks, bars and restaurants, etc.
Nice restaurants (e.g. Lasun Indian restaurant) and bars (Nine Bar, Hedworth Hall, The County etc) within few minutes walk, and ample shops nearby, local mini supermarkets open till late, and Aldi / 24hr ASDA a few minutes drive in South Shields centre. There is also excellent transport links to Sunderland with a very regular bus service taking approximately 30 minutes including walk to the bus stop from our place.
I will do my best to make guests feel at home and provide as much information as I can (all guests who book direct with us receive my personal guide with all the hot spots detailed) on the area as they wish gained from being a South Shields lad and knowing the area, including Newcastle, Sunderland (long suffering fan!), etc. inside out.
