More details about the property
Set over two floors with amazing spacious room and super fast fibre broadband throughout, this property offers magnificent spacious living space for larger groups to enjoy and offers great uninterrupted and un-overlooked views at the front over the beautiful South Shields Cricket and Westoe Rugby Club Stadium. NOTE: Unlike many serviced accommodation we have central heating controlled by room thermostat to maintain a cosy temperature, NOT ones which switch off after 2 hours so places can get very cold when going out of the place for a few hours or every night.

First floor: Lounge (5.5m X 4m X 3m high) – to left from first floor landing top of stairs
Comfortable and spacious; with large original box bay window and beautiful built in window seat, great for watching the lovely views over the cricket and rugby matches. With wood effect Karndean flooring a newly opened up feature brick chimney breast with new multifuel stove creates a beautiful focal point. Large Italian white leather sofa and a comfy arm chair and coffee table ensure you will have lots of comfortable seating to relax on. Wall mounted 32″ wall mounted Sony TV with Now TV stick for Netflix, etc viewing.
Kitchen/dining room/living area (8m X 4m X 3m high). Huge open plan kitchen dining and living space with hob inset into brick chimney breast which has been revealed to form a lovely focal point. This is a great communal and interactive area for socialising, dining and entertaining. There is a large solid oak dining table with 2 benches either side which seats 8 persons and a seat can be put at either ends of the table to take seating to 10 persons. Butchers block provides extra space for food prep.
A comfortable large orange three seater sofa, brown leather three seated sofa and separate single seater with 52″ Sony TV with Now TV stick and selection of DVDs are also provided. Please help yourself to the books, kids toys, art equipment and board games during your stay; ideal for keeping kids entertained when relaxing inside the property.
Brand new kitchen has fully integrated full size 50:50 fridge freezer, full size dishwasher (tablets provided), induction hob, oven and microwave. Well stocked with good range of pots, pans, slow cooker, juicer, cutlery, cleaning equipment etc. Please help yourself to our range of spices, oils, etc for cooking during your stay.
Washing machine installed down the back stairs from the kitchen (on the ground floor utilities area) near the back yard door to ensure no unwanted noise from the washing machine spoils the ambience of this living space. Detergent is provided for you to use during your stay.
Bedroom 4 with bunk beds, bedside cabinet, reading lights and wardrobe with drawers.
Second floor: Master Bedroom (5m X 3m X 2.5m high) with large original box bay window and sweeping views over the cricket and rugby club ground. King size bed. Large chest of deep drawers, wardrobe, 2000w hair drier provided in bedside cabinet, reading lamp, make up mirror, storage basket for make up, etc.
Ensuite (1m X 2.2m X 2.5m high) with mains powered shower in enclosure, inline extractor fan, wall hung wc and wash hand basin.
Main Bathroom (4m X 3m X 2.5m high). Beautiful and very spacious family bathroom with newly installed separate open walk in shower, large freestanding bath to relax in, designer column and towel radiator, wall hung wc, wash hand basin/storage drawer and finished off with top quality tiles to floor and wall/feature wall. Please feel free to use the candles provided to create a nice atmosphere to relax during a long soak on the bath after a long day. Attractive tiling with subtle LED mood lighting to set it off. Bath & shower recesses where toiletries can be easily accessed. Make up mirror, cotton buds and balls in container. Storage basket for make up, etc.
Bedroom 2 (4m X 3.5m X 2.5m high). King size bed. Solid oak wood wardrobe and large chest of drawers, storage chest (with spare blankets, towels and bedding). 2000w hair dryer provided in bedside cabinet. Make up mirror.
Bedroom 3 – (5m X 2.5m X 2.5m high). Double bed and mirrored sliding wardrobe, large solid wood chest of drawers. Iron and ironing board provided in wardrobe.
There is ample on street parking right in front of the property.
The immediate neighbourhood
In a really quiet street yet less than 5 minutes drive/25 minutes walk to the beautiful Seafront; beaches & parks, bars and restaurants, etc.
Nice restaurants (e.g. Lasun Indian restaurant) and bars (Nine Bar, Hedworth Hall, The County etc) within few minutes walk, and ample shops nearby, local mini supermarkets open till late, and Aldi / 24hr ASDA a few minutes drive in South Shields centre. There is also excellent transport links to Sunderland with a very regular bus service taking approximately 30 minutes including walk to the bus stop from our place.
I will do my best to make guests feel at home and provide as much information as I can on the area as they wish gained from being a South Shields lad and knowing the area, including Newcastle, Sunderland (long suffering fan!), etc. inside out.
