Being the third biggest city in Scotland, yet surrounded by vast areas of unspoilt nature with vast history, there is so much to do and see around us. It really is a great place to be to work and play!

Apart from the usual city attractions (Union Square, HMT, Pittodrie, Aberdeen and Robert Gordon Universities, etc) jammed in between the, the miles of unspoiled and dramatic coastline, beaches and dunes to the east and the stunning Grampians which are part of the highest mountain ranges in Scotland to the west. We are a short “caber toss” away from Royal Deeside, with all of its nearby castles (Crathes, Drum and Braemar), quaint villages (Banchory, Ballater, and Braemar) and the popular ski resort of Glenshee. To the south is the pretty village of Stonehaven.

Some other attractions of note include the great golf courses (Old Aberdeen, Cruden Bay), the many whisky distilleries, TECA (The Event Complex Aberdeen) and of course the Brewdog Brewery!

Our two Claremont Street sister apartments (on adjacent floors to each other in the same block) have all that the west end has to offer, the quirky yet cool inde shops and cafes on our street (Claremont St – Long Dog Cafe, great if you are dog lovers and premium luxury retailer, Curated Stories and St Swithins Street (Cafe Cognito, Coppa), whereas the Nelson Court apartment has the University of Aberdeen on our doorstep and is right in the heart of the city but within a short walking distance of Aberdeen beach. Our two west end houses benefit from a quiet established residential area (also close to the Hill of Rubislaw so are in walking distance of ConocoPhillips, Ithaca Energy and Serica Energy offices) but with great amenities and a great wee “local,” the Bothy Bar and associated restaurant.
