Note: Unlike the majority of 1 bedroom apartments in Aberdeen city centre, our apartment is in a spacious traditional granite built building so the rooms are more spacious than lots of the modern purpose build properties which often lack in character but we also offer modern living like 100Mbps broadband (ie the fastest in the city!).
It’s all about location with this apartment, being in a really quiet street in the lovely west end neighbourhood yet only a 10-15 minutes walk to the city.
The whole place is very bright with plenty of windows allowing natural light in.
Main living space with natural wood flooring laid forms a lovely modern dining table and lounge space. This forms a great communal and interactive area to dine, socialise and relax in topped off with our amazing open fire and stunning fire place. There is also a John Lewis quality sofa and side tables. New Smart TV with Netflix for chilled out evenings in.
Double bedroom is at the rear the property so dead quiet, no passing traffic, etc for an absolutely tranquil nights sleep. There is heaps of storage space in the massive sliding mirrored built in wardrobes.
Kitchen with fridge freezer, oven with hob, microwave and washing machine, toaster, kettle and fully equipped with all the cooking and dining equipment you would need.
Bathroom with three piece suite and shower over the deep bath tub.
Heating is really cosy with gas boiler fed central heating and 100% guest controlled to keep a nice comfortable temperature.
One parking permit is provided for guests to use during their stay.
Vacuum cleaner and 2200w hairdryer are also provided.
A selection of tea, coffee, sugar, etc is provided. A full house manual is provided on successful booking.
Ideally situated, centrally in the west end but in a really safe and quiet street with ample car parking. The bedrooms do not back onto a road which makes for a great nights sleep.
The apartment is close enough for city based shops and offices and also for the city centre or for the many excellent more upmarket restaurants and bars of the west end. Also cool inde shops and cafes on our street (Claremont St – Long Dog Cafe, great if you are dog lovers and premium luxury retailer, Curated Stories and St Swithins Street (Cafe Cognito, Coppa) are just round the corner.
There are ample amenities nearby, a great wee corner shop “The Grove” stocking a good range of local fresh produce, and a pharmacy on Union Grove; 2-3 mins walk away. A Sainsburys mini market, award winning Ashvale fish and chip take away/restaurant, and many shops, restaurants etc are a similar distance away on Holburn Street. There is a handy “Spar” mini market shop a few minutes walk away on St Swithins street also.
Would also recommend the amazing New Orleans styled “Maggies Grill” Aberdeen’s first and original soul food neighbourhood chow down eatery; they do a great breakfast and indeed any meal of the day and is only a 10 minute walk away!! (No I’m not on commission…).
