Getting its name from the fact it sits a road which leads up to the fantastic tourist attraction the Roman fort, Arbeia, this amazing 2 bedroom retreat is proving to be as popular as all of our other places in the area.

Bedrooms comprise:

Master: Spacious bright room. Double and single beds with brand new Silent Night memory foam mattresses. Bedside table and lamp. Lovely window with open aspect. Ample clothes storage.

Second Bedroom: bright, lovely room with double bed with brand new Silent Night memory foam mattress. Bedside table and lamp. Lovely large box window.

Ground floor: Secure front door leads to a lobby with space for boots, outdoor clothing etc. Stairs to the First floor.

First floor: other than the bedrooms described above, which are all accessed off the front landing, there is also:

Lounge / Diner – Comfortable, spacious & bright with brand new carpet. Ample seating. Smart TV, dining table sits 4 and extends to sit 6.

Kitchen – straight on from the lounge: Undercoundter fridge and undercounter freezer, gas cooker with 4 rings and oven, microwave, kettle, and toaster. Tea and coffee are provided. Washing machine with detergent, iron/ironing board, cleaning products/utensils. Excellently stocked kitchen with good range of pans, casserole dishes, etc.

Heating is central heating powered by our brand new gas combination boiler and controlled using the HIVE room thermostat to ensure a constant cosy temperature is kept at all times. NOTE: Unlike many serviced accommodation we have HIVE central heating controlled by guests to maintain a cosy temperature, NOT ones which switch off after 2 hours so places can get very cold when going out of the place for a few hours or every night.

Bathroom with mains fed (from brand new combination boiler) shower, towel radiator, wc, wash hand basin and tiled flooring.

Ample free on-street parking right in front of the property. No permit is required.

Ideal for both short and long term stays; please contact us with your requirements and we can consider long term/repeat discounts (e.g. Relocation, insurance, corporate or contractors bookings).

We have had to remove guests in the past, police involved, etc and have measures in place to prevent this from occurring again so please do not try to book unless you are the right type of guest.
