Beautifully renovated in last 2 years to an immaculate standard. This is brand new to the serviced accommodation market but all furniture, linen and decor are to the same standard as Dwellcome Home’s many other established properties which we have 100s of 5/5 reviews for in our many years in managing serviced accommodation here in South Shields.

IMPORTANT NOTE: STRICTLY 6 ADULTS MAXIMUM – this is to rule out bookings from large non-family groups (folks coming to the area to party!). I have had to remove guests in the past from our Aberdeen apartment, police involved, etc and have measures in place to prevent this occurring again so please do not try to book unless you are the right type of guest.

A travel cot can also be provided on request. Please contact me with your requirements.

ALSO NOTE: If we are fully booked for your dates, or if you require more accommodation in addition to this, please consider our other 2, 3 or 4 bed apartments all within very close proximity to this property.

Being well travelled for business and pleasure myself both with and without my children I know what it takes to make a place homely for both adults and kids alike and that is my aim for all of our properties, to create a home away from home for all.

As with all of our properties (please click on my profile and read the reviews for assurance of standards) my objective is to provide somewhere I would want to (and routinely do) stay with my children. Good quality furniture, linen, towels and soft furnishings are provided throughout and brand new Silentnight 3 Zone memory foam mattresses are provided on all beds with mattress protectors. The exact same type of mattresses are used in all of our other properties which have received excellent reviews from over 100 Airbnb client reviews and countless others from other booking sites, many people saying it is the best nights sleep they have ever had.

Set over the first floor with 2 bedrooms (1 king, plus single bed, 1 double and 1 sofa bed), family bathroom, kitchen/diner and separate lounge, with nice private outside sitting area in the back this property offers excellent living space for guests to enjoy.

We have Virgin 100Mb/s fast fibre broadband.

Fully renovated in the last 2 years:

– Master (front of property) – Really spacious bright room. King and single beds with brand new Silent Night memory foam mattresses. Bedside table and lamp. Lovely large Bay window with great view along the beautiful Birchington Avenue. 2 large wardrobes in the alcoves provide ample clothes storage. A cot is also provided for our younger guests on request!

– Second Bedroom (front of property) – bright, lovely room with Double bed with brand new Silent Night memory foam mattress. Bedside table and lamp. Lovely large box window.

Ground floor:

Secure front door leads to lobby with space for boots, outdoor clothing etc. Stairs to the First floor.

From the kitchen the back stairs leads to lovingly renovated private back outside area seating where a garden table and 4 chairs are provided to have drinks, dine or just sit in the sun and enjoy the company. The yard gets full sun from afternoon until early evening.

First floor – other than the bedrooms described above, which are all accessed off the front landing, there is also:

Lounge – to left from first floor landing top of stairs

Comfortable and spacious; with window to the rear with wood effect flooring. Beautiful 3 seater orange leather sofa and comfy full double sofa bed ensures that you will have lots of nice seating to relax on. The extendable dining table sits 4-6. A highchair can also be provided on request.

Please use the selection of local information provided to plan some activities if you are visiting for pleasure. 32″ Sony TV with free view channels and a Now TV stick is also provided to enable iPlayer, Netflix, etc to be played.

Kitchen – straight on from the lounge.

Fridge freezer, electric cooker with 4 electric hobs and oven, microwave, kettle, cafetiere and toaster. Tea and coffee are provided. Breakfast bar and 2 stools. Washer/drier with detergent, iron/ironing board, cleaning products/utensils. Excellently stocked kitchen with good range or pans, casserole dishes, etc.

Also please help yourself to the range of take away menus provided (especially the menus from the world renowned Indian restaurants/take aways which line Ocean Road!!).

Heating is central heating powered by our brand new gas combination boiler and controlled using the room thermostat to ensure a constant cosy temperature is kept at all times.

Main Bathroom – unlike most Tyneside flats the family bathroom is directly off the hall and comes with with mains fed (from our brand new combination boiler) shower over bath, towel radiator, wc, wash hand basin/storage drawer and finished off with tiled flooring. Please feel free to use the candles provided to create a nice atmosphere to relax and bathe with.

There is ample free on street parking right in front of the property. No permit is required.
